Mailing lists

There are two mailing lists available for people interested in using, testing and developing the HP OfficeJet Linux driver.

Click on the links below to subscribe to the lists or browse the message archives.

For those who prefer the newsgroup format, Gmane provides newsgroup gateways to the mailing lists. E-mail addresses are obfuscated to prevent spam harvesting.

  • hpoj-announce: [mailing list] [message archive] [newsgroup alias] [newsgroup archive]
This is the one-way (read-only) mailing list for announcements about new stable packaged releases.

  • hpoj-devel: [mailing list] [message archive] [newsgroup alias] [newsgroup archive]
This is the mailing list for discussing development, reporting bugs, asking questions, and getting assistance with installing or using the software. Your comments about the software, documentation, and/or website are greatly appreciated, because we want to make them useful to as many people on as many systems as possible.

For most matters it is preferable if you send and reply to the hpoj-devel mailing list instead of individual developers.

Currently you can post to hpoj-devel even if you aren't subscribed, although non-subscriber postings may be delayed for moderator approval.

Note to Microsoft Windows and MacOS users: This project is dedicated to supporting HP peripherals on Linux and other Unix-like operating systems (but currently not Mac OS X). For Windows- and Mac-related support, please utilize one or more of the following HP Customer Care support resources:
